MailStart Form Control Program
Overview The Form Control Program was created to address the needs of other web sites wanting to provide their users with a low cost universal email access solution.  Participation in the Form Control Program is free and requires minimal effort by the participant.
 
Service Requirements There is no minimum traffic requirement for the service, and qualifying sites can join at http://www.mailstart.com/form/. This program is open to all active Internet web sites. The following sites do not qualify for this program:
  • Sites that promote sexually explicit material
  • Sites that promote violence
  • Sites that promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation, or age
  • Sites that promote violating the law
  • Sites that distribute and promote the distribution of unsolicited email (SPAM)
Target Audience The Form Control Program is for:
  • ISPs looking to offer web-based email access for their users
  • Personal home page owners looking to add email functionality to their page
  • Cybercafes wanting to offer email services from kiosks
  • Schools looking to provide a simple alternative to PINE or other Telnet-based mail services
Service Participating web sites host a Check Mail form and/or Send Mail form on their web site(s), which provides direct access to the MailStart service without the need for their users to leave the site and go to MailStart.
 
Benefits
  • Participants can add value to their site by including email sending/checking services.
  • Feedback forms can be created that go to specific email addresses or contain fixed subjects.
  • The layout of the page can be tailored to the sites established theme and layout.
